Noble Bootleggers, a boutique gin distillery influenced by the Art Deco period, sought an identity overhaul to enhance their brand presence.
Response
Creating a bespoke typeface influenced by Art Deco in a contemporary geometric style, we developed an intricate, interlocking pattern that captured the essence of the past while presenting a modern, clean, and unique identity. Embracing the experimental spirit of the owners, we infused the branding with elements of play and experimentation, giving it a distinctive personality.
Outcome
Following the rebranding, Noble Bootleggers not only secured a silver and bronze award at the Australian Distilled Awards in 2019 but also experienced a significant shift in reception. Previously rejected by sellers and hotels, the new branding was warmly embraced, leading to successful partnerships with distributors, specialty stocklists, and hotels, marking a pivotal turning point for the distillery's growth and recognition within the industry.
