Requirement
CostaFox sought a distinctive brand that would differentiate itself from other property developers, aiming for uniqueness and instant recognition.
Response
Drawing inspiration from architecture, geometry, and history, the CostaFox brand was crafted to incorporate elements from Modernism and Art Deco eras. A custom font was developed, extending from the word marque, while a rich palette of deep navy and gold was selected to evoke luxury and prestige. Complementing the design were tightly cropped, abstracted geometric architectural photographs.
Outcome
The branding endeavor for CostaFox proved highly successful, clinching the gold at the 2016 Melbourne Design Awards in the Typography category. The initial project set a new standard for luxury properties, selling all apartments within four days and establishing a record-breaking price for Manly at $11 million per apartment. This achievement spanned various aspects including brand development, typeface and logo design, printed collateral, brand extension, and website design.
