Narava, an Australian sustainable furniture brand, sought a comprehensive brand identity that honored their commitment to ethically sourced rattan while fostering a community of like-minded individuals passionate about sustainability.
Response
Our approach involved developing a timeless brand identity reflecting the craftsmanship of their sustainable rattan. Inspired by the malleable nature of rattan furniture, we crafted a distinctive wordmark and motif, intertwining the essence of rattan throughout the brand's DNA. Hand-drawn illustrations were incorporated to narrate the heritage, community, and values, mirroring the brand's "hand-crafted" ethos.
Outcome
The collaborative effort resulted in a cohesive brand strategy encompassing art direction, tone-of-voice, and unboxing tactics. With a robust art direction guide, Narava effectively communicated its identity through captivating photography and videography, elevating its market presence. The suite of illustrations became pivotal in storytelling, emphasizing sustainability, craftsmanship, and artisanal relationships across various brand experiences, ensuring a consistent and scalable brand presence for Narava's journey ahead.
